Music Missile
Mrs. Rants bought an iPod from the Apple website. They are shipping it to her direct from China. The FedEx tracking shows the package enroute from Shenzhen via Anchorage and Indianapolis.

It's like the route a nuclear ICBM would take...

I got an iPod Nano for Christmas, from Mrs. Lia, but my Dell wouldn't install the drivers properly. Methinks Dell, with their own MP3 players purposely made this incompatible. Anyway, mine came from Best Buy, then Circuit City.

I have a Bose SoundDock ($300 value) I can no longer use, brand new, I'll sell it to you.

PackageMapper's pretty nifty, but when I tried to track a package that went Vancouver-Memphis-Newark-Frankfurt-Berlin, it gave me only the Memphis-Newark leg. So it must be only for point-to-point in the USA. Cool idea though, albeit kinda scary from a data protection point of view.
